When does all this take place – do I need to take time off school?

Bronze expeditions last 2 days, and are normally run over a weekend.

Silver expeditions last 3 days, and Gold expeditions 4 (5) days – so you would need to ask for one or two days off from school, college or your employer.  Schools are usually happy to allow this.
